BARECORE

Barecore is strips of solid wood glued together to be a board. Barecore is commonly used as thick core sheet in melamine board or block board.

Barecore is used as thick core sheet in blockboard panels. Barecore is made of wooden sticks which are added with adhesive in a composer. Barecore can be a byproduct of the plywood mill. The core is usually too tough to peel, saw or slice into sticks. Barecore has a thickness of 10 – 13 cm, glued, and arranged to be a panel, with or without heating depending on the type of adhesive used.
