Meranti is made up of many sub species.. There will be some variation in color across the timber species, ranging in color from pale-red to reddish/brown. It has a moderately coarse grain but even in texture with an attractive ribbon feature.

Lengths : 1.8m – 6.0m

Meranti is stable and easy to machine and has been the timber of choice for many years in the manufacturing of Doors and Windows. Other products manufactured in Meranti are moldings , decking, siding, cabinets, paneling and joinery. It can be painted or stained to match the color of your home.

KSL WOOD can offer Meranti rough sawn, Par and / or molded to products like skirting, handrails and T&G flooring.
